Beta-lapachone has anti-cancer properties that are being researched with focus on pancreatic cancer.

It reacts with NQ01, an enyzme present in lung cancer and solid tumors.

The interaction between the betalapachone and the NQ01 form a bond that extinguishes the tumor cells.
